Terms & Conditions

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Service.

Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in the immediate termination of your account.

You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access our Service and for any activities or actions under your password , whether it is with our Service or a third-party service. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

Required Card on File

All billing is handled electronically through our trusted third-party provider, Stripe. We require all clients to have a valid payment method on file. Payments are processed automatically after each cleaning, and receipts are sent to the email on file. If you do not have a working payment method on file, we reserve the right to cancel the service.

Card Hold

24 hours before your scheduled service, we will place a hold on your card for the amount of the booking to ensure funds are available. If the hold fails, we reserve the right to cancel the service, and you will be notified via text, call, or email.

Cancellation Policy

If a client cancels an appointment with less than 24 hours' notice, we reserve the right to charge a 25% cancellation fee. Any deposits or card holds will be refunded or released if applicable.

Cleaner Reassignment Policy

We reserve the right to reassign cleaners to appointments as necessary. This may apply to both recurring and one-time appointments. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of any such changes via email and text whenever possible.

Complaints

Please direct any service-related complaints to us at info@bestportlandhousecleaners.com or call/text us at (503) 306-0794 within 24 hours of service completion to qualify for potential resolution.

Right to Terminate Service

Best Portland House Cleaners reserves the right to terminate service for any client at any time for any reason. You will be notified of such termination via email and text.

Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse service due to safety concerns, inappropriate or uncomfortable situations, severe clutter, biohazards (including feces, urine, blood, drug paraphernalia), infestations, hoarder homes, or any other condition we deem unreasonable. Cleaners may refuse service on the spot if they feel unsafe or if the environment is extremely unsanitary. In such cases, a cancellation fee may be applied.

Cleaning Day Preparation

To help our cleaners focus on cleaning, we ask that you prepare your home by tidying up surfaces and providing easy access to floors, countertops, and other areas to be cleaned. Please view our Pre-Cleaning Checklist to help you prepare.

Use of Customer's Equipment

If you request that we use your vacuum or cleaning supplies, we do not assume any liability for potential damage. We will not be responsible for repairs if the equipment fails to operate correctly during our service.

Unreachable Areas and Heavy Items

For the safety of our cleaning crew, we do not use ladders taller than three steps or move heavy furniture. If you would like us to clean behind appliances (e.g., refrigerators, ovens), please move them before our arrival.

Non-Solicitation Agreement

Clients agree not to directly solicit or employ any of our cleaners or staff for a period of five years following the termination of services. In the event of a breach, the client agrees to pay a penalty of $5,000. We reserve the right to terminate services immediately if we discover such solicitation.

Changes to Requested Services

If you need to make changes to your cleaning service, please contact us directly. While we cannot guarantee last-minute changes, we will do our best to accommodate requests made up to the service time.

100% Satisfaction Guarantee

Your satisfaction is our priority. If you are not satisfied with the cleaning, contact us within 24 hours, and we will return to re-clean the area free of charge.

Hourly Services

We only offer hourly services on a special, case-by-case basis. Please note that these services do not qualify for our Satisfaction Guarantee.
